The problem
What made it hard
Commission marketplaces in the events industry break down the moment a vendor and a customer talk to each other. The model had to be flipped: charge vendors a predictable subscription, let contact happen in the open, and make the listing itself worth paying for.

- Subscription billing

- Web and mobile
- Cloud setup
The approach
How we solved it
- 01
Subscription-first commercial model - vendor plans billed monthly through Razorpay, with grace periods, dunning and automatic listing visibility changes on lapse.
- 02
A Pro Portal that is closer to a light CRM than a listing page: profile, media gallery, services, portfolio, documents, locations, social links, enquiries, membership and analytics, all editable from a phone.
- 03
An EOB-Certified verification workflow - vendors submit, admins review, and the badge that results is what makes the directory worth trusting.
- 04
An enquiry pipeline with budget bands, event type, date and status (open, in conversation, won), so a vendor can see conversion rather than just leads.
- 05
Discovery designed around how people actually shop for events: occasion, city, date, budget band and capacity, not a flat keyword search.
- 06
Direct contact by design - phone, WhatsApp and enquiry, with intent tracked for the vendor rather than hidden from them.
- 07
A production design system implemented from the Figma source, so web and app share one visual language and future screens are assembly, not redesign.
- 08
A deliberately lean v1: a single EC2 instance with Docker Compose, sized for the first cohort of vendors and documented for the migration to managed services when volume justifies the spend.
